Wild Panax plants adapt to their thermal environment by harboring abundant beneficial seed endophytic bacteria

چکیده

The seed microbiome of crop wild relatives is a potential reservoir beneficial traits that potentially improve their host plant resilience to fluctuating environments and pathogenic threats. Herein, we studied the three species medicinal genus Panax ( P. vietnamensis , japonicas stipuleanatus ) collected from seven locations in Southwest China. We used qPCR metabarcoding high-throughput sequencing target both endophytic bacteria fungi. Seed bacterial absolute abundance (1.1 × 10 9 ∼1.0 7 gene copy numbers per gram seed) was substantially higher than fungi (7.6 5 ∼3.7 2 ). Host genotype main driver composition for growing hypothermal significantly shaped but not fungal microbiota. species’ seeds harbored unique microbes [averaged ∼150 amplicon sequence variants (ASVs)], sharing only 12 ASVs (half affiliated Halomonas four ASVs. Network analysis showed tend form inter-weaved functional modules are majorly connected by core members Pseudomonas Pantoea . These genera have been associated with nutrient cycling, plant, disease suppression, tolerance environmental fluctuation. Together, these novel insights may shade light on ecological strategies plants adaptation thermal environment possessing abundant bacteria.

Selective Isolation and Characterization of Agriculturally Beneficial Endophytic Bacteria from Wild Hemp Using Canola

Endophytic bacteria can provide a useful alternative to synthetic fertilizers to improve plant growth. Wild plants are little investigated as a source of growth promoting endophytic bacteria for commercial application to crops. In present study, endophytic bacteria were isolated from Cannabis sativa L. (hemp) using two different methods to examine their ability to promote canola growth. Besides...

The diversity of citrus endophytic bacteria and their interactions with Xylella fastidiosa and host plants

The bacterium Xylella fastidiosa is the causal agent of citrus variegated chlorosis (CVC) and has been associated with important losses in commercial orchards of all sweet orange [Citrus sinensis (L.)] cultivars. The development of this disease depends on the environmental conditions, including the endophytic microbial community associated with the host plant. Previous studies have shown that X...

Endophytic Bacteria Isolated from Panax ginseng Improves Ginsenoside Accumulation in Adventitious Ginseng Root Culture.

Ginsenoside is the most important secondary metabolite of ginseng. Natural sources of wild ginseng have been overexploited. Although root culture could reduce the length of the growth cycle of ginseng, the number of ginsenosides is fewer and their contents are lower in adventitious roots of ginseng than that in ginseng cultivated in the field. In this study, we investigated the effects of endop...

Impact of Endophytic Microorganisms on Plants, Environment and Humans

Endophytes are microorganisms (bacteria or fungi or actinomycetes) that dwell within robust plant tissues by having a symbiotic association. They are ubiquitously associated with almost all plants studied till date. Some commonly found endophytes are those belonging to the genera Enterobacter sp., Colletotrichum sp., Phomopsis sp., Phyllosticta sp., Cladosporium sp., and so forth. Endophytic po...
